Rana Naidu Web Series Review: Rana Naidu is a web series in which the heroes of Daggubati Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati acted together for the first time. Based on the American drama series Ray Donovan, this series is directed by Karan Anshuman and Supern Verma. The series was released by Netflix. Did Venkatesh and Rana please the audience with this series? You have to go through the story to know how their OTT debut was.
Rana Naidu Web Series Story:
Rana Naidu (Rana) solves any problem faced by celebrities in Mumbai. He lives happily with his wife and children. Family is his life. He has younger brothers Tejnaidu (Sushant Singh) and Jaffanaidu (Abhishek Banerjee).
Their lifestyle is different from that of Rana Naidu. Rana Naidu's father Naganaidu (Venkatesh) is released after serving fifteen years in prison. Rana Naidu does not like his father's release from jail. He hates him instantly. In the end, he didn't even like to be called father. What is the reason for that? Who sent Naga Naidu to jail for a crime he did not commit?
Who won the fight between father and son? How does Naganaidu solve the problem faced by Rana Naidu due to Surya (Ashish Vidyarthi), a most wanted gangster? The story of this series is how Rana Naidu saved his family from the clutches of that gangster.
In modern style...
This is a series made by combining family emotions with action elements. The story unfolds in a completely modern setup. More masala scenes and double-meaning dialogues seem appropriate for that.
The story of a son who hates his father and a father who tries to teach him a lesson about these two characters is simple. Linking the rest of the characters with these two characters, the series is screened with ten episodes by the director duo Karan Anshuman and Supern Varma.
With the first episode itself...
The directors aroused interest in the series with the scene where Rana's character makes an entry as a person who solves the problems of Bollywood celebrities. After that, the first episode starts with the scene of Naga Naidu being released from jail and meeting his sons. At the end of this episode, the real story starts with the scene where Venkatesh and Rana meet.
Realizing that his son Ranane has put him in jail, the series revolves around the steps taken by Naga to deal with him and how Rananaihu deals with the problems of celebrity while facing the challenges of his father.
The last episode showed why son Rana Naidu hates his father Naga. After that, the series ended with a scene where Naga solves the problem of his son.
Rana Naidu doesn't have much story to tell. The directors tried to arouse the curiosity of the audience by changing the characterizations differently. The series was boring till now.
Family emotions will feel stretched. There is no depth in Rananaidu's reasons for hating his father. The emotions in the characters of the Rana Naidu brothers are not worked out properly.
Rana Naidu and Venkatesh in the role of Naga Naidu were competing. In contrast to his family image, Venkatesh burst into playboy-like roles. His mannerisms and dialogue delivery are new in the Salt and Pepper look.
Rana's acting as Rana Naidu is powerful in a role with negative shades. Lived in a serious role. Surveen Chawla as Rana's wife, and Sushant Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee as brothers are a plus for the series. Ashish Vidyarthi's villainy is routine.
Rana Naidu Web Series Review- For Acting...
The Rana Naidu series can be watched for Venkatesh and Rana acting. Rana Naidu made the series keeping in mind only the compliant youth audience. It can be said that it is impossible to watch the series with the family.
