Waltair Veerayya

Waltair Veerayya Movie Review: Punakalu loading... Director Bobby Kolli has only one word on 'Waltair Veerayya' (Waltair Veerayya Review). He is a big fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Vintage Chiranjeevi was commemorated with promotional images. And how was the movie? How is Ravi Teja's character? Does Sankranti bring joy to mega fans? Or?

Waltair Veerayya Movie Story

Waltair Veeraya (Chiranjeevi) is the sea king. If the drug dealers kidnap the Coast Guards... the Navy officers also seek his help to bring them to safety. Knowing Veeraya's heroism...he meets a suspended police officer Sitapathi (Rajendra Prasad).

They offer to kidnap Solomon Caesar (Bobby Simha), a drug dealer in Malaysia, and bring him to India for any amount of money. Veeraya, who agreed to the deal and went to Malaysia, says that he did not come for Solomon Caesar, but for his elder brother Kala alias Michael Caesar (Prakash Raj).

What is the quarrel between Veeraya and Michael? Who is Aditi (Shruti Haasan) whom Veeraya met there when he went to Malaysia for Michael? Actually, what happened to ACP Vikram Sagar (Ravi Teja)? What is the rivalry between step-brothers Veeraya and Vikram Sagar? What is the relationship between Jalaripet and drug dealers? What finally happened? You have to watch the movie to know.

Waltair Veerayya Movie Analysis

It has been a long time since Chiranjeevi's film Mass. Except for 'Khaidi No 150' in the re-entry... it has not been done again in that genre. Megafans made little expectations on 'Waltair Veerayya' by wearing colorful shirts. The presence of Ravi Teja and the promotional pictures increased interest in the film. And, does the movie live up to expectations? When it comes to...

Director Bobby relied too much on the megastar image. The scenes in which the fan wants to see Chiranjeevi... are written very well. He could have done better in writing a thick story and articles to connect those scenes.

Chiranjeevi's introduction is good, and Ravi Teja's is too! The interval was a bang. Songs are beautiful on screen. Action episodes are well done. A Mad Max-type fight is good. Seen separately, everything looks good. If you look at it as a story or as a movie, something will emerge. Chiru has good comedy timing. It was not used properly.

Emotional scenes are not worked out in the story. When there are two-star heroes in a film...when there is blood bonding between them...the audience expects a lot. But... this story doesn't have much scope. Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja stand some scenes with their performance. When both of them appear on the screen, it is full of eyes.

Waltair Veerayya

Coming to the story of 'Waltair Veerayya'... not a great story. Regular routine commercial formula film. Brother added a sentiment to it. The screenplay and direction are not as expected. There are usually. The main reason for the emotion not working out in the film... is not establishing the bonding between Ravi Teja and Catherine properly!

If their bonding had been shown... then the scenes between Chiranjeevi and Catherine would have been stronger. The hero's goal and ambition had value. Hero's childhood episode also lacks strength.

Devi Sri Prasad's songs are good on screen. However, they could not get proper placement. After the interval, Chiranjeevi and Shruti Haasan's song hit Katha. The background music is good. The fight before the interval, the title song gives goosebumps. The cinematography is good.

How did the actors do it? : Megastar did some fights and dances to remind vintage Chiranjeevi. Such characters are nothing new to him. Easy going. Ravi Teja is the same! He has already done police roles... this time he was seen speaking in the Telangana accent. Both the heroes looked handsome on screen.

Waltair Veerayya

Bobby was successful in that regard. Apart from being just a commercial heroine... Shruti Haasan got a role with importance in the story. There are not many complaints as the scenes with Chiranjeevi are written in a convincing manner. But, there is no proper justification for her character.

Catherine played an emotional & important role. Bobby Simha, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, 'Vennela' Kishore, Sathyaraj, and other actors are regular characters. So... everyone went on doing their usual way.

Finally what? : 'Waltair Veerayya' is a no-complaints movie to accompany the Sankranti festival with the family. It is a commercial film made with songs and fights to keep Chiranjeevi fans in mind. Even though it is a regular routine story... Interval Bang will bring rewards to the mega fans. Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja did justice to their roles. The vintage megastar can be seen in 'Waltair Veerayya'. There are scenes that give high to his fans.
